Cass the Colour Robber
We have been reading a big book called "Cass the Colour Robber" written by Jill Eggleton. Room 8 decided to draw the Colour Robber using pastels. This was our WALT (We Are Learning To...) create an illustration for "Cass the Colour Robber" by using pastels. The class voted for the Top 3 this afternoon. The winners were Aidan, Danielle and Grace. Their artwork will be displayed around the school, congratulations!

Harold
Room 8 had our first lesson with Harold today. He taught us about "Food for Energy". Please watch the video clips to find out what we learnt today.
The Eagle Helicopter
We have had a very exciting day of learning - The Eagle Helicopter from the Police Air Support Unit came for a visit today. Room 8 was very lucky to have a photo taken with the police officer and the pilot!

Tuatua Bake Off
We baked beautiful cakes to help raise money for a new playground. The whole school voted and we have 2 winners in Room 8...
