This blog is being made by Room 8 at UHPS.
This blog has been established so that all the children from Upper Harbour Primary School can share their learning journey with the wider school community and other schools in the world. Please comment and let us know what you think about all of our fabulous learning. We love lots of great feedback. We hope you enjoy exploring our blog.
Last week, Room 8 studied the ocean as a habitat. We learnt about the different zones and many different creatures in the ocean.
The class watched 10 minutes of "Suzy's World" this afternoon and found the answers to our 2 questions - "How many teeth does a shark have?" and "Why don't penguins fly?"
After the DVD, we created a thinking map together as a class on our SmartBoard.
Room 8 is creating a hamper for the UHPS Gala and we have a "Paper Me" (stationery) theme. We are starting to have a small collection, thank you everyone! Please do keep bringing the stationery in, remember there are plenty of bargains at the $2 shop and The Warehouse.
Last Friday, three talented musicians from Room 8 performed in front of the whole school. Please click on the video to watch their performances. Well done girls!
